Tia Blanco. She's on SURFER MAGAZINES "Hot 100" list for 2014 and she's definitely one to watch. How long have you been surfing?     I've been surfing since I was 3 years old when my dad first started pushing me into the Hawaiian whitewash.

Girls who surf that inspire YOU?     Carissa Moore by far is the girl I aspire to most be like…a champion.

Favorite place you've ever surfed?    Tahiti was amazing. My main sponsor Reef sent me down there when I was 15 and I got to surf with Raimana at Teahupoo and I will never forget it

Three Things You Don't Know About Me...

1. I sleepwalk.

2. I'm vegan.

3. I'm 16 years old and I'm really very shy and sometimes I struggle being around new people. So if I don't say hi to you, I'm really not trying to be rude I'm just really shy but I'm working on it.

Whats Next?    For 2014 I have gone to Hawaii and Australia so far. I am currently in the Caribbean for surfing/modeling for my main Sponsor Reef. When I am finished here I go right to Ecuador to surf for Team USA in the ISA World Surfing Games then New Zealand for competition! Also I will continue to film for my Epic TV web series “Paddling Out with Tia Blanco.” Lots of fun photos, videos, and experiences on the way.
