One of my favorite lines of all time is the one in the surf movie BLUE CRUSH when surfer Anne Marie says " What do I want? I want a girl to be on the cover of a Surf magazine. It would be great if that girl were me, but any girl would do"

That says it all. Covers of female action sports athletes are usually too few & far in between.

But not this month!  Check out the gorgeous CONCRETE WAVE MAGAZINE cover with longboarder Amanda Powell on it.

I saw it when I was at Skateboarding Hall of Fame last week and it stopped me in my tracks. It's amazing and beautiful and it features a well resepcted skater we all love. Win. Win. Win.
