If you saw the
Vans live webcast, you know how hard the girls were skating. The huge crowd in the stands was cheering them on, and by the time we got down to the finals it was an all out heavy duty jam session like we have never seen before.
All the girls skated hard, but only 6 could make it into the finals - Alana Smith, Allysha Bergado, Lizzie Armanto, Arianna Carmona, Julz Lynn, and Nora Vasconcellos made the cut in a very tough field of competitors.
At the end of the final jam session it was Allysha Bergado in 1st, Julz Lynn in 2nd, and Lizzie Armanto in 3rd.
Congrats to all the girls for showing the world what womens skateboarding is all about - it was a GREAT event because of all of you!
