An eagerly anticipated and time-honored tradition at The Berrics, the Poseiden Foundation is hosting their 13th annual Ladies Day this November 7th. Created in 2008, Ladies Day at The Berrics, has become the park’s flagship for hosting one of the largest female skate sessions in the world.

Ladies Day welcomes all skateboarders who self-identify as female.

The day kicks off with a skate clinic hosted by the SkateSide [the premiere skateboarding school located in Los Angeles, California], followed by Andy Roy, MCing the traditional skate contest, where this year we have invited the SoCal Skate Series, a new series for the youth in the industry to host our Ladies Day 17 & under and 18 & over contest.

During the first round of contests, Poseiden will be playing music provided by Professional Skater Nika Washington, Skate Designer Marissa Martinez, better known as Mama Skate, and PlayTime Music Projects, artist DJ DAD who believes that Skateboarding & Dance are good for the soul!

After the skate contest, we will be hosting our traditional Skate Session with Las ChicAZ, ChrissySparkleM4ker, and Di’orr Greenwood who together, demonstrate how skaters have no borders, and skateboarding is about having fun!

The day will end with the World Cup Skateboarding hosting the 21 and over Open Skate Contest. We are so excited and honored to have Meme Expert and Professional Skater, Alex White MC the contest and thank YOURIP for being the presenting sponsor with a prize purse of $3,500 and donating 300 skateboards to youth in need! During the Adaptive Skate and 21+ Open Street contest, Skateboarding Legend Jake Brown and Professional Skater Daniel Cuervo (DC the Crow) will be hyping up the Ladies with fun beats and DJing skillz.

Due to current COVID guidelines, space is limited to 20 skateboarders per session and requires a $20 entry fee.

All proceeds from the registration fees will be dedicated to providing skateboards for fostered, orphaned, and homeless youth. For every entry to the event, one underprivileged youth in California will receive a free skateboard deck.
