Minna Stess made history when she placed 3rd at the World Championships in Rome on October 8, 2023 - making her the first American Woman to make podium in Women’s Park at an Olympic Qualifying event since its inception.

Minna started competing in pro events at age 11. Minna placed made the finals and placed 7th in the World Championships in 2023 in Sharjah, UAE. Minna is the USA National Women’s Park champ for 2021. . Minna got 4th in X Games in 2021. Minna competed in the World Championships in Nanjing, China qualifying 2nd and making the semi-finals (2018). She also won the Mystic Cup in Prague (2018).

Minna is a member of the USA National Skateboarding Team for Women’s Park.

Minna has been featured in: Teen Vogue, Forbes, Sports Illustrated, The Players Tribune, Vogue, The Washington Post, New York Times Magazine, Sports International Magazine, Argus-Courier Newspaper, East Bay Express Newspaper, and a 10-page feature in Girls Who Ride Magazine on "Young Rippers". In 2022 she was featured on the cover of the skateboard publication Bigfoot Magazine along with an in-depth article.

Minna also has a part in the all-female skate film "Quit Your Day Job". She has filmed a spot with GN4LW for both LIFETIME TV as well as a promo for Flower Child Restaurant.

Minna is featured in the all-girls skateboarding book, "It's Not About Pretty". 

In 2019 Minna was named as one of the "30 inspiring individuals under 30 in Sonoma County."
