Sometimes when I'm not skateboarding,  I  write articles for various magazines. I was beyond stoked to be asked to write this article for South Bay Magazine's "The Women's Issue" about growing up as a female skateboarder in the South Bay.

There are so many women here in the beach area that came before me, and so many girls I grew up that were charging every day, paving the way for the next generation. It was a privilege and honor to write this piece so we can remember our past heroine's, and embrace the next generation of awesome girls in this area.

Much respect to all the GIRLS out there doing what they love because you RULE. Thank you all for following your dreams because what you are doing now does matter to every girl out there, so keep doing IT.   xx
