Vans Combi Pool Party - The Last Hurrah — Girl Is NOT A 4 Letter Word

After spending so many years covering the Vans Girls Combi Pool Party we were so sad to hear that this would be the very last event (combining men’s, women’s, legends and masters in one day) before the park was demolished. On top of that sad news, Ian and I were both sick, so we had to say good-bye from afar. Luckily, photographer Lauren Brooke generously offered to share her awesome photos from the women’s event and we were able to watch clips from friends as well as a Live Stream from Bucky Lasek on YouTube.

Thanks as always to Kristy and Steve Van Doren, World Cup Skateboarding, Dave Duncan as well as all the other people who come out and make this super special event happen!
