It's summer and that means another rad week of surf and skate events in Huntington Beach at the Vans US Open!  Here's what's happening for women's skateboarding at the week long event.

This is the first ever World Championships of Park Skateboarding with the introduction of the Vans Pro Skate Park Series. The Boardr is the Sport Organizer of the Series. The Boardr Live™ will run scoring and data behind the scenes.

Skaters have been selected for the event by submitting an application and skate video to The Boardr for their approval process.

Where:  Huntington Beach

When:  Tuesday, July 26

Times:   1pm - 3pm: Women's Practice and Registration
               3pm - 6pm: Women's Contest Live Broadcast at VansParkSeries.com

Here is how it will all go down:

5 skater jams, skate in order
4 runs each
Max 30 seconds or skate until you fall
Judged on overall impression

Top 10 advance to Finals and qualify for World Championships at Malmo
Finals

2 alternates permitted in Practice
4 runs each
Max 45 seconds or skate until you fall
First wall rebate, one time only, clock resets
Best run counts
