This is pretty cool! Most of you are to young to remember the skate/streetwear label NO FEAR, but those of us who do, remember (like most things back then) it was really just for the boys.
Not anymore!
The store everyone loves to shop at H&M, is getting ready to launch its latest collection in partnership with 90's skate and streetwear brand No Fear and the awesome skater girls from The Skate Kitchen - who are also co-creators.
The collab with launch on 14 October with a more inclusive approach. ** Times are changing in women's skate - thank goodness!
The Skate Kitchen comprises of Rachelle Vinberg, Ajani Russell, Ardelia “Dede” Lovelace, Moonbear, Brenn Lorenzo, and Jules Lorenzo. Together, they speak up for inclusion with the aim of a better and more equal world.
Check out the video above for all The Skate Kitchen skaters showing off the new collection.
The collection will be a mix of oversized and tight-fitting silhouettes through elevated basics and graphic illustrations, with 23
garments including oversized T-shirts, crop tops, shirts, sweatshirts,
hoodies, knitwear, varsity jackets, tracksuits and joggers. Esentially - something for everyone!
The collection will also feature 11 accessories, including bags, beanies, trainers, scarves and stickers. We can't wait for those!!
The main color palette is vibrant green, black and white, while the co-created pieces with The Skate Kitchen feature a color palette of beige, khaki brown, green and washed black. (our favorite color-way)
Stay tuned for the official drop on October 14th!!
