Welcome Klara To the GN4LW Team!

We are so excited to announce that Klara Kermoade is now part of the Girl is NOT a 4 Letter Word movement and team!  Klara is eleven years old, and loves to get outside the skatepark and shred it up OG style - skating drain pipes, ditches and backyard pools. Her mentor is OG pro skater, Freddie De Sota - so she's learning from one of the 70's best vert skaters around!

Klara's dedication to always skating anything she comes across, wanting to learn more and more, her ability to switch back to "contest mode" when necessary and the pure love of being on her skateboarding every single day are what we feel make her a great fit for the GN4LW team.

Check out her team bio page to learn more about Klara's favorite things and see the rad places she loves to skate!

We are so stoked to announce that Mazel Alegado is now part of the Girl is NOT a 4 Letter Word movement and team!  Mazel is just seven years old, but in the two short years she has been skating she already has the skate scene talking about her and singing her praises.

Mazel's power, style and commitment, as well as always having FUN, are what we feel make her a great fit for GN4LW.

Check out her team bio page to learn more about Mazel's favorite things and how she has been doing on the contest scene!

Elle enjoys skateboarding just about anything she comes across - and we love that. She is also a firm believer in getting groups of girls together to encourage more girls to get on a board and skate.

Welcome to the team Grace!

We are stoked to announce that Aussie skater Grace Cochrane is now part of the Girl is NOT a 4 Letter team!

Fifteen year old Grace lives and skates in Tasmania and also counts Globe, Jimmy's Skate & Street and She Shreds Australia as her sponsors. She recently qualified to come in as a wild card to compete at this weekend's Bowl-A-Rama comp in Sydney, AU (her first BIG comp!) and we have heard she is attacking that pool like a veteran!

Get to know Grace:

*Favourite foods would be smoothies or pizza.

*I love pop music but when I skate I love any music that’ll get me hyped!

*My favourite song before I skate is Bad Habit by offspring. It’s such a hectic song it pumps me up!

*And usually I have a lucky shirt or socks for comp days.

Grace will be competing along with our pro rider, Poppy Starr Olsen, this weekend at Bowl-A-Rama along with so many great female skaters from all over the world - all details to watch on the live web feed can be found HERE

Have a great time Grace!

We are stoked to announce that Australian ripper Poppy Starr Olsen has joined the Girl is NOT a 4 Letter Word team.  Poppy is the current 2015 World Cup Champion for over 15 years of age in bowl riding and will turn pro at this weekends Vans Girls Combi Contest on Saturday, January 23.

Poppy is not only a major shredder, she is also a well known speaker (have you seen her TEDx talk? It's a must see), she is also a talented artist and creates jewelry as well. Poppy is also one of the first people you will see step up and help another skater learn a trick, pick a line, and give support. She is with out a doubt a positive ambassador for our sport, as well as someone who is working hard to keep girls skateboarding exciting and progressive.

Welcome to the team Poppy!
